Meet The Photographer 

Rachel has over 25 years of experience in the photography industry. What started as an extra class her junior year to fulfill her credit requirements, soon became a passionate hobby. Why? One of her best friends couldn’t afford senior pictures due to the high cost in a small town. Rachel volunteered to do them. Little did she know she’d grow to love it. Capturing moments of excitement and joy. Soon after other students asked her to capture their special moments from graduation to choir performances, even prom and homecoming photos. 

Throughout the next three years Rachel would offer “pay what you can” or barter services. It became clear there was a need for affordable family photos, graduate sessions, etc. September 2009 in Chehalis, Wa, Remarkable Memories Studio was opened. During the first few years Rachel continued to offer barter services, tons of giveaways, as well as $40 sessions! 

In March 2011 we relocated to St. Louis Missouri. The need for affordability was even greater. Through the next four years Rachel would capture over 50 different families special moments. June 2015 she welcomed twin girls and life became even more precious. Rachel became a stay at home mom. In 2016 Remarkable Memories Studio was shortened R.M. Studios. At this time Rachel stepped down as owner to volunteer as the company’s photographer. Life as a mom became the highest priority and she no longer had the ability to run the business full time. In the past 11 years she’s continued to consistently capture remarkable moments for birthday parties, families, graduates and more whille being a full time mom and devoted wife.
